Technical Director/Set Designer
Opera House Gala
This performance will be the gala opening of an Opera House in the beautiful mountain town of Prescott, Az. in May of 2010. Through this performance a new permanent company will be created with season contracts approx. 28 weeks/yr. This will be a Cirque du Soleil type company, so a willingness to explore possibilities and be flexible as an artist are most important. This is an opportunity to be part of something from the beginning, an artistic journey creating a company of excellence, passion, and beauty.

Seeking a set designer/technical director who is full of ideas and creativity. Willing to be innovative with small budget and can also work with larger budget. We will be doing 2 - 3 productions a year. It is a smaller stage with limited wing space and load-in door is 8x8. It is a beautiful little theatre full of potential for the right person.

This is a multi-tasking position, primarily focused on set design and technical director skills. Please send examples of your work, either photos or DVD of live performances. Include a short personal segment where you talk about yourself and what you are looking for as an artist, and as a person. We are working to bring the right artists together to create incredible magic.

Costumer Needed - Philadelphia
Established Professional Costume House seeks artistic person to work at busy costume shop. Position includes working with customers, pulling costumes for theatres, creating visual displays, creating costumes, overseeing projects, working with make-up and wigs, and more.

Well qualified applicants should have experience in fields such as costume, retail, fashion, or theatre. Retail or customer interaction experience should be part of your background. Being organized and ability to 'self-start' are a must for this position. People who can think for themselves and who are creative are very welcome here.

Sewing, organization and creative skills are really key to success in this position. The ability to use a sewing machine and stay on top of time-lines is necessary too.
